However he never considered himself to be a part of the pop art movement but rather, the Neo-dada movement. His work deals with very familiar simple subjects, especially of tools and hearts. Dine also very much values the use of simplistic symbolism\u2019s and conceptual art. Really enjoy his lithographic pieces of tools. What I enjoy most about them is the simple use of contrast and values to show the depth and contour of each tool. The texture he creates behind each of his subjects is very effective in tying the composition together.
