This scholarly source focuses on a mobile learning application that has been created for android devices to help assist children with Dyslexia, a disability that effects writing skills, with their overall writing difficulties. The research from this assessment has been gathered from students that are a part of dyslexia institutions in Pakistan. The main objective of this project was to improve the introductory writing skills of students dealing with this disability, and find areas of improvement within the learning performance with the addition of this application. This source is one example of a technological application aiding children with learning disabilities, but focuses on the learning disability Dyslexia in particular. I will be able to use information form this source as evidence by assessing the outcomes made by this this learning application, and if it has been able to increase the learning performance of students with this disability. The limitations of this source are that it only focuses on one disability, but I still believe it is a useful resource to have as evidence for my research paper.

This scholarly source focuses on the evolution of technology and how new teaching approaches utilizing technology have affected learning performance. It showcases that majority of results of technology benefiting students have come from children with special needs or children from low socioeconomic families. Ultimately, the outcomes from the addition of technology have been positive on the learning performance of these young students. I will be able to use this information as evidence towards formulating an answer for my research question. The results from these studies will help prove how technology has benefited children with disabilities within the classroom. The limitations of this source are that only part of the results is from children with disabilities, but I still believe that this information will be useful towards my research paper.

This scholarly source focuses on the learning application of video modelling with concrete- representational- abstract sequencing, and how it this technology has been used to help children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in the classroom. This technology has been used to improve primary mathematic skills within elementary classrooms, and this report provides evidence on how this type of technology has affected the learning outcomes of these children. I will be able to make use of the results of using this technology in the classroom from this academic report towards answering my research question. It will also provide another example of technology impacting the learning outcomes of children with disabilities, and in this case children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The limitations of this source are that it only focuses on one form of technology that has been used to help one disability in particular, but I still believe that this information will benefit my research paper as more evidence.

This unscholarly source is a magazine article from “The Journal,” and focuses on how the addition of assistive technologies in the classroom have benefited the learning outcomes of students with disabilities. This article reveals different ways teachers have been using technology to increase the learning performance of different cases of students with disabilities. I will be able to use this source as evidence to support my research question, and provide other examples of ways to utilize technology within a classroom setting. The limitations of this article are that it only focuses on four ways teachers have been learning to use technology within the classroom, but I still believe that this information will be useful.

This unscholarly source is a magazine article from “The Journal” and it focuses on the Cornwall- Lebanon School District, and how students suffering from disabilities that impair their speaking abilities have invested into more advanced technology to aid students. This article concentrates on a learning application that can be used on iPad devices that is easily accessible and able to help to these children within the classroom. I will be able to use information from this source as another example of a learning application that benefits the learning outcomes of children within the classroom. The limitations of this source are that it only focuses on children from the Lebanon school district, but it will still be able to provide useful information for my research paper.
