Drawings in of itself are representational art, a famous example being Magritte&#8217;s, This is not a Pipe painting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/upload.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/en\/b\/b9\/MagrittePipe.jpg\" alt=\"Image result for this is not a pipe\" \/><figcaption>This is Not a Pipe. Magritte is saying that this painting is not a pipe, but a representation\/painting of a pipe. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Icon: An image used to represent a person, place, thing, or Idea. Just like representational art, Icons are made so humans can easily identify things and associate an image with their real-life counterpart. They can vary in size and spacing to show time moving forward or backwards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The spacing between these blocks is an example of a gutter<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visual Iconography: The language of pictures, how they are formed and how they are represented are all parts of Visual Iconography.
