It has been both challenging and rewarding to take ENGL 100. The course’s development and instruction were challenging yet beneficial. The class context encouraged respectful and constructive topics, where I was able to have meaningful discussions and work towards a deeper understanding of the material raising my level of consciousness. It was not easy, the complex reading materials were quite the challenge. Took me a lot of hours during the week to grasp an understanding of the context as it required a high level of concentration and critical thinking abilities.
Which brought up another challenge I encountered and had to face, time management. The course required me to complete multiple assignments, including reading, writing, and research tasks. Consequently, in order to keep on top of the workload and meet deadlines, I had to polish and strengthen my time management skills.
ENGL 100. I can say with certainty was no easy course, but it did improve and better my critical thinking and writing skills. Which resulted in understanding complex readings and gaining confidence in my abilities to express ideas. Overall, to my understanding I faced a range of challenges related to language, reading comprehension, writing skills, and time management. However, with dedication and effort. I managed to overcome these challenges and obstacles and enhanced/developed the skills and knowledge necessary for success in my daily life.
