Next time round, I would like to include the Ambient Literature team\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/ambientlit.com\/index.php\/a-manifesto-for-ambient-literature\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Manifesto for Ambient Literature<\/a> introduced by Tom Abba at last year\u2019s Ambient Literature Symposium in Bristol:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/eportfolios.capilanou.ca\/amahood\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2018\/02\/IMG_0536-e1494604408230-770x515.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1094 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/eportfolios.capilanou.ca\/amahood\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2018\/02\/IMG_0536-e1494604408230-770x515-300x201.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"201\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eportfolios.capilanou.ca\/amahood\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2018\/02\/IMG_0536-e1494604408230-770x515-300x201.jpg 300w, https:\/\/eportfolios.capilanou.ca\/amahood\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2018\/02\/IMG_0536-e1494604408230-770x515-768x514.jpg 768w, https:\/\/eportfolios.capilanou.ca\/amahood\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2018\/02\/IMG_0536-e1494604408230-770x515.jpg 770w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>This is an interdisciplinary project focused on understanding how the situation of reading is changing through pervasive and ubiquitous computing. Drawing on literary studies, creative writing, design, human-computer interaction, performance and new media studies, the research being developed looks to engage with\u00a0the history of the book and see what that history is able to tell us about its future.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ambientlit.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ambient Literature<\/a> is a two-year collaboration between the\u00a0UWE Bristol,\u00a0Bath Spa University, the\u00a0University of Birmingham, and development partners\u00a0Calvium, Ltd. established\u00a0to investigate the locational and technological future of the book.<\/p>\n<p>The aims of this interdisciplinary project are a multi-year collaborative investigation of the changing horizon of storytelling and bookmaking central to our own course.
