I had originally planned to have my mood board go along the lines of design or typography. Despite that notion one of the topics really caught my eye, and that was the invention of sliced bread. I initially thought that there was no way that the topic could even relate to any of the three groups, but it had to have been put there for a reason.

Before I knew it, I had spent around 2 hours or so researching the history of sliced bread and how it had impacted the world. I never thought that I would learn so much about history, let alone some aspects of advertising from what I thought was such a silly concept.

I spent around 5 hours working on this assignment—only to realize that the evening before it was due, that I had done it wrong! I got so sidetracked with this single topic that I completely forgot about researching two other topics that I could relate to. Instead, my mood board ended up being a single topic that related to design, culture, and objects. So, I spent another two hours researching the topics I needed. In total, this assignment took roughly 7 hours. Regardless of my huge error, I really enjoyed the process of this assignment. If I were to grade this, I would give myself a 7/10. Some things I would change would be creating better headers, along with more descriptive and engaging captions that had more variety.
