When researching for my infographic, I not only researched about the subject matter, but also infographics in general. I found that the infographics I enjoyed most had simple, yet striking images. So, I decided to include a printing press image in my infographic. It is my favourite part of my infographic, and I think the strong black shadows make it very striking. I considered how to integrate this image in the composition, and came to a layout in which it frames the text. My infographic is fairly minimalistic, both in layout, and in colour palette. While making an infographic was very enjoyable, the subject matter of a typography timeline to be less interesting, simply because it is what we have thoroughly covered in the course. Overall, I would give my infographic a 7.5\/10, because while I enjoy the composition and the image, I think that the presentation of the timeline itself to be relatively normal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
