Barbara Stauffacher is a designer best known for her large-scale interior Supergraphics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her work use lots of bold lines and shapes, arranged in various patterns and with solid colours. I find her work to be very appealing. The designs are relatively simple, yet effective. I enjoy minimalist design, and try to implement it in my own work. I also enjoy using shapes in my work. A big draw of her work (excuse the pun) is its large scale. While photos of it may give me the gist of her work, I feel like seeing it in person would be much more resounding. I hope I one day have the opportunity to experience her work in person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While I am definitely more of an illustrator and find illustrated work more appealing, I admire good design, and I know that having a solid grasp on design can really enhance one’s illustration work. So being able to see the work of innovative designers such Barbara Stauffacher is very beneficial. I’ll be taking a few pages out of her book when I’m designing things like comic book covers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
