Ericson Salasel is twenty-three years old and has been immigrating to Canada with his family for about a year. He was born in Iran but lived in Germany for 8 years, that’s why he is fluent in several languages such as Persian, German, English and Arabic. At the age of 16, he realized that he is interested in philosophy, so a few years later, he got his bachelor’s degree in philosophy. He had different jobs, and he started working in Canada as an operation manager in a famous company. But after one year, he decided to start studying psychology and he considered himself to be an expert in psychology.

Hello! I’m Ericson, a psychology student at Capilano University. I have a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Tehran in Iran (2016-2020), and that’s why I have a questioning mind. In Iran, I worked as a writer and editor of different magazines from 2016-2021, and I recently migrated to Canada. I am very interested in literature, philosophy and psychology and I love reading and writing. I also published a book in Iran about the philosophy of identity. I hope I will be a good psychologist one day. I think that I can look at psychology from a new window since I have studied philosophy. Also one day I want to open my own psychology clinic. Besides studying psychology, I enjoy playing soccer, listening to music, watching movies with my family and reading books.
