During my stay in Spain I had the great opportunity\u00a0 to\u00a0make\u00a0 friends and\u00a0to\u00a0research \u00a0on \u00a0how\u00a0people study and learn in other countries.<\/p>\n<p>I had the chance to experience a variety of educational approaches\u00a0of\u00a0studying a second language in school, and to learn about Spain, autonomous communities and their challenges.<\/p>\n<p>I also had the great opportunity to directly observe the historical event of the Catalan governments unilateral declaration of independence, and the events which occurred during the month of October 2017, referendum and\u00a0 protests pro\u00a0\/ contra separation.<\/p>\n<p>My stay in Spain provided me the world-wide experience I needed to become a proficient ESL instructor.
