Going to the gym allows people of many different backgrounds to connect and help each other become the best version of themselves. It gives many different types of people an opportunity to talk about something similar. The gym community for me has given me many new friendships and opportunities to connect with many of my old friends daily. Being part of the gym community has also had a  beneficial effect on me and my friends mental health.
