I was a sailing instructor for  6-12 year-olds, and taught them the basics of the sport. During lunchbreak, we would make fires on the beach and share snacks. I learned to gain respect from the kids and in return, it turned me into a great kids camp leader. Bonding with the younger population is just as important as any other type of community, since as we age we will have to deal with an increasing amount of young people. It is important that we can be strong leaders in each of our different communities, and be role models for the younger generation. Overall, this picture is important for describing one of my communities, because it demonstrates relationships made in the outdoors, leadership skills gained, and my passion for sailing. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In this photo, I am demonstrating leadership skills in my community.
