My name is Bruno Velez, I am a twenty one year old student studying at Capilano University living in North Vancouver. I have lived in North Vancouver for about 10 years but I was originally born in Lima, Peru. I grew up in a neighbourhood in the city of Lima and was fortunate enough to have english school education there until the age of six. In 2005 my mother and my step father decided to move to Montreal, Canada because my step father wanted to further his education at Mcgill university. I lived there until he finished his education which was when I was eight years old. The plan was to move back to Peru but my mother liked Canada and decided to go to Vancouver because she had lived there as a child. I was lucky to already know some english coming to Canada and picked up some french in Montreal, so the transition to Vancouver was easy. I have lived here ever since and now look forward to my future at capitano university. Throughout my university career I have developed a great interest and hobby of training martial arts. I also enjoy playing and watching any sport, especially basketball. I have a passion for finance and have the goal to get a BBA with a concentration in finance.
