In this 4-part workshop series, participants work directly with ePortfolio Peer Mentors and facilitators to understand the value of ePortfolios to career development, learn the basics of WordPress, begin to build and curate their own ePortfolio site and to share and receive feedback as they showcase their site with their peers.

This hands-on workshop will introduce the basics of WordPress and get you started with generating ideas and gathering assets for your ePortfolio. You will leave this session with a framework and the building blocks of your ePortfolio.
Thurs Oct. 11 Curating your ePortfolio LB 316 @ 11:30am
In the workshop, you will consider design aspects as you continue to develop and curate your site. Peer Mentors will be on hand to help you think about your academic and professional needs as well as provide more advanced professional skills. You will leave this session with a broader sense of the connection between your experience and skills and how you can design your ePortfolio to showcase this.

In this interactive and fun session, you can volunteer to share your ePortfolio with other participants. This is a great way to get feedback on your site and to learn ideas and skills from others. You will leave this session feeling confident about your ePortfolio, your ability to continually develop and curate it and excited about using it as an important aspect of your career development.
