Growing up Asian-Canadian I have always been drawn to Chinese, Japanese, and Korean characters, therefore I have chosen Japanese characters because I wanted to further my knowledge of its alphabet and history. For my design, I wanted to stick to a red, black, and white color theme to represent how japan is known as \u201cThe Land Of The Rising Sun\u201d with circles throughout my design representing the sun and the bars of red representing the sun\/light rays. Learning about the Japanese language was a very factual experience, finding out about how they have 4 languages and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I had to give myself a rating out of 10 I would rate myself a 9\/10. I felt overall my composition was great but I could have presented my facts in a better way, without using so many different fonts and sizing which is tiring to the eye, or using too few fonts which made it boring to read. I spent collectively around 3 hours researching and 6 hours creating the piece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
