While looking for a topic for my moodboard, I was searching through the class PowerPoints when I came across the story of Dr. Faustus. After reading about his story, I was reminded of multiple other instances in history where a similar circumstance has brought about a work of art. Hence, I decided that the theme for my moodboard should be on the devil and the art he\u2019s inspired. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I find it interesting that these stories happened centuries away from each other, yet they still carry a similar attitude toward the devil. For a really long time, people have bought into the idea that the devil can give someone what they want most in exchange for their soul. This is a sentiment that still persists today in a lot of people.\u00a0 The devil is still seen as a trickster who is out to doom people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If I were to give myself a grade, I\u2019d go with 7, because I forgot about the blog post and image captions. Sorry! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Aside from that, I really liked my topic. It was fun to learn a bit more about these stories since they\u2019ve interested me even before this assignment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
