“Queenie” is a novel written by Candice Carty-Williams; published in March of 2019. I love the bright orange; it’s very intense and striking but the texture on the braids are beautiful and really knocked it out of the park.
Use of Size
“Five Feet Apart” is a novel written by Rachael Lippencot and designed by Lisa Perrin; published in November of 2018. This novel shows a lot on the cover, but I really liked the size difference between the lungs and the people. I also love the flowers blooming and weaving, creating the appearance of lungs.
Use of Space
A book cover adaptation of the movie “Get Out”; created by Zin Ven. This adaptation shows a great use of negative space and I was really drawn in by the bright red head piece/cigarette smoke.
