She also played a prominent role in popularizing America&#8217;s European New Wave style in the 1970s and 80s. Often considered the bridge between the modern and postmodern movements, Greiman remains one of the most influential living designers today. Greiman has noted that she does not consider herself a graphic designer but instead prefers to be referred to as a transmedia artist. While I appreciate the innovative approach in her work, this period and style of design are difficult to love.
