One of the scientists, Tamir Klein, states that \u201c[the team doesn\u2019t] think there is any intention of a tree to help its neighbor\u201d(Yong).   In other words, the conclusion of the study is simply that \u201ca very mixed forest is much more connected than [previously] thought\u201d(Yong).
