{"id":201,"date":"2019-10-30T22:58:02","date_gmt":"2019-10-30T22:58:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eportfolios.capilanou.ca\/davidbautista2\/?p=201"},"modified":"2019-10-30T22:58:02","modified_gmt":"2019-10-30T22:58:02","slug":"survey-7-plan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eportfolios.capilanou.ca\/davidbautista2\/2019\/10\/30\/survey-7-plan\/","title":{"rendered":"Survey 7 (Plan)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Artefact &#8211; Fashion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Before today&#8217;s lecture on <strong>Survey 7<\/strong>, I was assigned as a designer to cover fashion between the years 1905 and 1915, which is the period of Cubism and Corporate Identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>I am supposed to create an artefact <\/strong>relating to this general topic. As such, I have decided to research the fashion designer known as <strong>Paul Poiret<\/strong>. Having a brief glimpse of Poiret&#8217;s work, I find him to be quite avant-garde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I will be creating multiple fashion &#8216;sketches&#8217; of his designs on separate sheets of paper. For the final &#8216;spread&#8217;, I intend to photograph the &#8216;sketches&#8217; on a flat surface and place objects that relate to fashion in that time period for aesthetic (on one page).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another page will have a document, written in first-person, by &#8216;Paul himself&#8217;, writing about his life and his own thoughts on general fashion and his own design process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Looking forward to creating this artefact, in the meantime, I will be getting my research done!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Artefact &#8211; Fashion Before today&#8217;s lecture on Survey 7, I was assigned as a designer to cover fashion between the years 1905 and 1915, which is the period of Cubism and Corporate Identity.
