In my undergraduate academic career, I have focused my coursework in the fields of Women\u2019s and Gender Studies, Anthropology, and English. In my current studies, I am most interested in Feminist Theory. Research areas within Feminist studies that interest me most include issues affecting women in society; and, the complexities of masculinity. Outside of Capilano I have volunteered for the Aunt Leah\u2019s Place organization.<\/p>\n<p>My goal upon completing this individualized degree is to have undertaken an education that caters to my interests, but also expands my learning beyond my comfort zone. I aspire to gain the skills and knowledge required to continue research in my fields of interest after I graduate.
