I learned many new skills and techniques while writing my research paper. Starting with MLA citation. After finishing my paper now, I know how to do in-text citations and how to write the works cited page. I used the CapU library to directly cite my articles which helped me. I learned how to do my research. I learned how to find articles and further how to find the information that I need for my essay. During my entire essay writing, transiting between paragraphs was the most difficult thing for me. I struggled with talking about my series ‘Mom’ to talking about the general topic of addiction. I took help from the writing center. I went there every week and they helped me a lot. I improved all my mistakes in the essay that were told to me in the writing center. I noticed the different writing styler of my peers. I came to know that there are different ways and different points of view for everyone. Also, I noticed how my peers edited my work. Commented on all my grammatical errors and basic errors and helped me improve my final draft.
If given a chance to redo my paper, I might add some more points and facts about rehabilitation centers in my second last paragraph. I might want to improve my conclusion paragraph and add a few more sentences. In my paper, I am proudest of how I tried to change my readers’ mindset about drug addicts and alcoholics. I am proud of my introduction paragraph. I think my thesis statement is nice.

Research project introduction
It is rightly said by Confucius that “Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall” (Confucius,2014). Everyone faces failure in their lives but only those succeeds who get up after falling. Nothing is impossible. From young students improving their grades to adults doing better in life, people overcome failure. One of the most efficient examples of turning one’s life upside down and going from completely wrong path in life to start earning good and becoming a respectful citizen is seen in the tv show “Mom” by chuck Lorre, Eddie gorodetsky, Gemma baker. This is a series that shows dysfunctional mother daughter duo who struggled addiction, pulled their lives together, went to alcoholic’s anonyms and how all the friends supported each other in hard times and showed up every single time.

Annotated Source #1
Johnson “On Angels, Demons, and Ghosts: Is Justified Belief in Spiritual Entities Possible?” Vol. 13 Issue 7. 2022
In this article Johnson claims that “angels appear, demons possess, ghosts haunt” (Johnson, 2022). He mentions that no stories, movies, or personal encounters can ever provide sufficient evidence to justify belief in spiritual entities. This article will help me give evidence that spirits exist. Johnson claims like demon possesses will support my argument when spirits exist.
Annotated Source #2
Jalal “Men Fear Most What They Cannot See.” sleep paralysis “Ghost Intruders” and faceless “Shadow-People”—The role of the right hemisphere and economizing nature of vision” Elsevier. 2021
In this article, Jalal mentions about the hypnogogic and hypnopompic visions that are common worldwide and how people hallucinate ghosts in their sleep. This article will help me make a comparison between people’s beliefs and the prove facts that do people see ghosts or are those just visions.
