My name is Elise, I am a mother to a beautiful 6 year old little girl named Teagan who is in grade one. have been a student at Capilano University since September 2015. When I started at CapU I was doing prerequisite’s for the veterinarian technicians program, so I could get into the vet program at Thompson River University. As long as I can remember I’ve been bringing sick or injured animals to my house so I could help them get back to the wild where they belong. I love learning new thing’s about different types of animals; however, due to some unforeseen road blocks I had come up for me to be accepted into the program at Thompson River University, I have had to shift my education and long term goal to becoming a Community Support Worker. I still will be able to help people just in a different way then I had originally intended. I believe that I am setting a great example to my daughter by showing her that it doesn’t matter how old you are, as long as you keep an open mind and continue with your dreams and goals anything is possible.
