I chose to do it on the First Olympic Games held in Greece (776 BCE), Gunpowder &amp; fireworks invented (China) (700-900) and First passenger railway in Britain (1825).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"400\" height=\"266\" src=\"https:\/\/eportfolios.capilanou.ca\/emilymcalpine\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13238\/2021\/10\/ago_downloaded.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-107 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eportfolios.capilanou.ca\/emilymcalpine\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13238\/2021\/10\/ago_downloaded.jpg 400w, https:\/\/eportfolios.capilanou.ca\/emilymcalpine\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13238\/2021\/10\/ago_downloaded-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\">During my research into the First Olympic Games held in Greece, I found it fascinating how the Olympians would actually compete against one another fully nude. Building a railway line and a bridge in 1825 is a big accomplishment in itself, not to mention how they are both still functional and in-use!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>I specifically chose these 3 events in time because of how well they can connect together, and actually advance each other. Starting with the origin of the Olympics, then to the making of fireworks, (to celebrate festivals like the Olympics) and ending off with the creation of the first public transit (which can get people to these said events\/ festivals).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Overall, while doing this Mood Board project I learnt a lot about different periods of time in the past.
