Hello! My name is Emily McAlpine!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0I am currently a first-year student enrolled at the Capilano Universities prestigious Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication. Controlled by my many passions toward the world of illustration and design, my motivation to pursue an education and reputable career in the arts could never be stronger.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My eagerness is rooted from my many supportive influences in my life, but mainly from the urge to create something that can (and hopefully will) influence people\u2019s daily lives and produce emotions. Whether it is a billboard, app, movie or art installation, having the ability to make someone\u2019s day a bit better or evoke emotions from strangers using my work is a personal goal of mine.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite my love for art and design, I have many other passions that have shaped me into who I am today. One main hobby of mine would be soccer, which has played a large role in my life. I have been playing with the same select club since I was 6 years old and have gained so many wonderful memories from it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Any free time I get I enjoy spending with my close friends, who I hold very dear to my heart. I owe a lot of the support I received to them who always push me to be my best self! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
