My name is Emily Ridley, and I am a third-year student at Capilano University. I am enrolled in the Bachelor of Communication Studies Degree program. I selected this area of study as I aspire to work in public relations for a fashion based company. Fashion is something that I am passionate about and I am hoping that I can combine my interests by working with and for people for a fashion based company. I moved from Vancouver Island to attend this program because I wanted to learn practical skills that I will later be able to apply to my career of choice. When I am not in school I am working in retail part time or running my hair clip brand.
