Enactus is a global not-for-profit organization that encourages entrepreneurial leaders to step forward and take action in addressing social issues. Universities around the world create teams that work to create an impact in their communities based on the United Nations 17 goals for sustainable development (SDGs).
Over 1,700 schools participate around the world, impacting nearly 30,000 people through community projects.
At Enactus Capilano, we currently run our Square One project, which educates students on the importance of financial literacy and capability through a series of workshops. We have previously run our Counting on Action project, teaching students about entrepreneurship, and are currently looking to create new, exciting projects in different categories.
