\u00a0I’m in my fifth (and final!) year of Capilano University’s Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program, concentrating in Accounting. I’ll be continuing on to become a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) and work in cross-border tax.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0I’m currently the President of the Enactus Capilano team, and have had some of the best moments of my life with my teammates. Some highlights of my almost three years on the team include volunteering as a presenter at the regional and national competitions, facilitating workshops to teach high school students about financial literacy, and working on creating our new sustainability project.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alongside my education and volunteering, I have been fortunate to have had several . I had the opportunity to <\/span>intern at Solomon Tax Services<\/a> one summer and worked as a Peer Mentor for the ePortfolio initiative throughout my second year at Capilano University, which is what led to the creation of this website and my inconsistent posting patterns.<\/span><\/p>\n

I am currently working full-time as a co-op student at DMCL, officially termed a US Tax Co-op but unofficially working in cross-border tax (!). It still sometimes feels like a dream to have the opportunity to get experience in the exact position I’m hoping to have a career in, and I couldn’t ask for a more amazing team to be my introduction to the professional accounting world.<\/span><\/p>\n
