This blog will be a space for me to share my thoughts on media regarding digital technology and AI. I will be discussing the impact of technology on culture and society through my empirical insights, and backed up with thorough research. Since the 1950s, technology has significantly developed with the inception of computers, the internet, and artificial intelligence. With these developments, associated issues have surfaced within and outside the bounds of our current periphery. Some have questioned the privacy and security of the World Wide Web, or the legal ownership of the intellectual property of material created with AI. Some believe that the development of technology could slowly dismantle our understanding of creativity and originality, and drive us further into an automated uncontrollable society. Based on the media provided, I will be deliberating these ideas in my future posts to better understand the impact of digital technology on society.
