I am a first year engineering student currently attending Capilano University in the engineering certificate program. it is a very challenging program as we are required to take seven courses per term. My goal is to transfer to the University Of British Colombia and graduate from the mechanical engineering program. The field of mechanical engineering and machines as well as how they work is interesting to me. The process of designing things in CAD programs such as AutoCAD or Solidworks is fun for me and I hope to develop my CAD skills in my career. Regardless of if I attend the mechanical engineering program I plan to learn about cars and one day in the future build and modify my own car. I enjoy snowboarding in the winter as well as mountain biking during the warmer months.
