A transcription is  <strong>[P-R&#8217;-I-V&#8217;-E-T]<\/strong> with\u00a0the\u00a0stress on\u00a0the\u00a0last\u00a0part\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0word and with soft sounds<strong> [R&#8217;]<\/strong> and <strong>[V&#8217;]<\/strong>. Let&#8217;s repeat &#8211;<strong> PRIVET! <\/strong>Well\u00a0done you,\u00a0excellent!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Do you know, that in Russian there are 2 types of language &#8211; formal and informal?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Formal<\/em> <\/strong>language is used when you are talking to someone older than you or a stranger to you.  These can be special forms of words, such as pronounces in plural instead of singular, or some formal words instead of informal words with the same meaning.<strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Informal <\/em><\/strong>language is simplier and often shorter than the formal and is used when you talk to children, friends, or someone you know well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, the word <font color=\"#191e23\"><span style=\"font-weight: 600\">PRIVET <\/span><\/font>is informal and can be translated as Hello or Hi. It is not polite and sometimes even rude to say <strong>PRIVET <\/strong>according to the formal and informal norms of the Russian language. You should say this in another word, which I teach you a little later.
