Crawling, hugging<\/span><\/h5>\n

weeds tightly fastening themselves into the rusty train tracks<\/span><\/p>\n

Thick, black smoke emerges<\/span><\/p>\n

from the railroad train that stomps its angry feet on the soil<\/span><\/p>\n

wired fences Silently standing<\/span><\/h5>\n

as they become vines for the greens running out of room to spread<\/span><\/p>\n

Shooting up, up, up<\/span><\/p>\n

a boundary as well, separating the cement pavement from the fields<\/span><\/p>\n

Stairs giggling as you walk down<\/span><\/h5>\n

There\u2019s a secret down there-<\/em> you\u2019ll know it from the way they smiled in excitement<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally they stop, as they reveal a glistening lake<\/span><\/p>\n

that was too shy to show itself to the entire world<\/span><\/p>\n

Slowly, the blue skies back away as the main event starts<\/span><\/h5>\n

The Creator painting in red, yellow, black watercolors<\/span><\/p>\n

A child stares in amazement as the twinkling points of light then make themselves known<\/span><\/p>\n

and like a superstar, they wave back to the starstruck child<\/span><\/p>\n

I used to see<\/span><\/h5>\n

An endless competition between nature, and rising effects of greed and capitalism<\/span><\/p>\n

A switch in sight, in perspective<\/span><\/p>\n

I wonder what happens when we choose to see the beauty in harmonious co-existence<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
