This happens off screen and can show the passage of time without the artist depicting it. In this case, it&#8217;s not about what you draw but what you don&#8217;t draw. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Gutter<\/strong> &#8211; Space between the panels &#8211; Fracture time &amp; space <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mono-sensory Medium<\/strong> &#8211; Information can only be conveyed visually between the panels, magic happens. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Chapter 4: Time Frames<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bleeding <\/strong>&#8211; When panel runs off the page. This creates a feeling of movement. This is used alot in Japanese manga. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Zip Rippons<\/strong> &#8211; Represent objects running through space. This is used alot in American Comics .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Chapter 5: Living in Line<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Syn-aesthetics <\/strong>&#8211; Relating to synesthesia &amp; merging of the senses.
