Using photos and illustrations from the 1930’s and 1940’s. Using a basic body block, I flat pattern drafted these bralettes. The purple and white lace bras were my first attempts and I learned alot from them. The tan and black lace was made for a client in another city. All the bras consist of the outer fabric, cotton twill flat lining, and light tan lining. The tan and black lace bras have satin adjustable straps, where as the purple set has elastic.
These bralettes were accompanied with 1940’s knickers. These flared leg shorts have lace inserts and side seam snap closures.
