Our assignment was to create a UX storyboard using our assigned character and the Global Goals <\/a>. I chose Amanda, who is an industrial designer and gamer, and after going over the Global Goals, my group selected goals that we felt would appeal to an industrial designer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These goals are Goal 4, quality education, Goal 8, decent work and economic growth, and Goal 11, sustainable cities and communities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We went over a few different ideas, and here is what we came up with to conclude. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After working through the first two, we became more comfortable with the format and found that our third one was the strongest, as the content appealed to us the most and was one of the most relevant subjects (that being quality education). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We wanted our story to end positively, as we discussed we wanted to keep a hopeful town as there is enough downer news and stories in the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From there I took that content and created my storyboard. I wanted to represent her working and how its important to consult and involve the people you’re designing for in your creative process, especially when it’s for a community you as a designer are not a part of. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
