Katherine

My name is Katherine, I am nineteen years old and I just moved to North Vancouver from the Sunshine Coast, where I was born and raised. I made the decision to move so I could experience a new environment and start school. Since I can remember I have wanted to pursue a career in the medical field as I have had many family members around me in that area. I am currently completing prerequisites and my plan is to pursue nursing next fall. In the future I am hoping to specialize in pediatrics or aesthetic nursing, although I am looking forward to experiencing all the individual specialties. Before moving to Vancouver I worked full time at a medical clinic in Gibsons as a medical office assistant. Since I am still getting used to a new city, outside of work and school I have been exploring around my area and looking into all the activities that it has to offer.
