I started the week with a light workload, so on Monday I made this lego creature during a traffic meeting and went around asking people what they thought it looked like. Everyone had completely different responses \u2013 it was so interesting! I thought it looked like a bird (specifically dodo) but people said horse, dinosaur, sheep, and dog!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

I had so much fun with work this week. It’s nice having a bunch of projects that are so different, and also playing different roles in each project. For example, I’m art directing one campaign, and then working as the designer for another, while also doing storyboarding for yet another project. It’s super fun! I always knew I wanted to do a wide variety of work and projects, but this really confirmed it for me. I’ve also grown used to the agency environment now and feel a lot more comfortable with more people around the office which is nice!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next week I’m giving my first client presentation, and actually presenting all the work that I did myself. It’s going to be my first time sitting in on a client presentation, let alone presenting MYSELF. I am very nervous but also very excited because the campaign has become super close to my heart and I think it’s one of my favourite projects I’ve ever worked on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was also St. Patrick’s day this week! We have several Rethinkers who are from Ireland, so we had a pretty fun, festive day! Almost everyone wore green, and there was even green and gold nail polish so everyone could rep a little festivity in their look. Oh, and I also got assigned to another project that’s also super different from everything else I’m working on! It’s (kinda) packaging and more of a 3D design (I know all packaging is 3D but this is more so, I’m not sure how to explain it lol). Anyways, I’m quite excited to get started on that too.
