Target Audience

Knolly Bikes has four main targets for potential customers. On a broad scope, all men and women ages 12-70 who live near off-road trails would be audience. To be specific to mountain bikers, there are three categories of customers:

  • Current mountain bikers looking to replace their current bike.
    • Each year new technology and geometry are released that is exciting and indented to make you ride better. This is why many riders replace there bike every few years to stay relevant.
  • Current mountain bikers looking to add another bike to their fleet.
    • Many bikers believe in n+1, given that n is the number of bike you currently have. Each bike has a different intent and can be fun in there own ways. A small travel suspension bike will inspire bigger further adventures while a long travel bike will go faster and bigger on jumps. When it’s hard to choose the difference, why not both?
  • New outdoorsy entrance from Covid-19
    • Covid was a time when you could only see friends and family outside. Lot’s of people took up mountain biking as a chance to do a new skill and progress in it. While most customers wouldn’t think of Knolly as a first choice when buying a bike. It was an option with lower priced hardtails and gravel bikes in their fleet.
