    WordPress.com is a paid service that completely installation and hosting for you. The options are limited, depending on the price plan you choose. For the external plugins, you will need the expensive business plan. The advantages have to do with installation and set up.

    WordPress.com is an easy to use, free to start, web creation platform. WordPress.org is a free open source software to create your own website. You are in charge of hosting the website yourself. While you have more control it can be more costly. WordPress.org is harder to use because of the limited help it gives you.

    I would prefer to use WordPress.com.
