My name is Maheep Singh, I am a student with a background in business and psychology. I graduated from Scottish High International School with more than 10 years of on-stage performance/cultural experience in 2020. I’m a Sikh by ethnicity and an Indian by nationality. I grew up in the metropolitan city of Gurgaon, where I lived in a joint family. My mother became 100% disabled when I was 4 years old, so I became independent early on; Therefore, I learnt humility, empathy and other adaptive skills. My interests range from sports to music, reading and content creation. In school, I was a part of the choir as lead and was a member of the school band, I also played sports like basketball and soccer for my clan (school house). I have been engaged with my community through religious activities and volunteering. Passion and creativity are my biggest motivators, as I believe that they are the fuel for critical thinking and problem solving; thus, I seek the same in myself and the people around me. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies from Capilano University, as an international student, while working for Flair Airlines as a Passenger Service Agent at the YVR airport.
