Tintoretto<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Famous Italian artist Tintoretto, also known as Jacopo Robusti, was one of the most important artists of the late renaissance, known for being a Mannerist painter.\u00a0 He had a very obnoxious and proud presence and was even rumored to have an apprenticeship with Titian that was broken off due to his annoyingly proud attitude towards his work.\u00a0 Upon Tintoretto\u2019s creation of \u201cSan Marco Freeing A Slave,\u201d he became a very famous and sought-after artist, only fueling his ego further.\u00a0 He was known for the boldness of his brushwork, dramatic gestures and his use of perspective.\u00a0 Tintoretto had a great admiration for Paolo Veronese which was seen in his later work.\u00a0 He started to use a greater vivacity of colour and added a highly decorated quality to his work.\u00a0 His new use of light created space that wasn\u2019t based solely on perspective.\u00a0 He would paint organized crowds in these spaces, something that had not yet been done at the time.\u00a0 I think Tintoretto\u2019s work was extremely impressive.\u00a0 His use of perspective along with the light introduced in the painting with his many figures, created a feeling of boldness.\u00a0 His work is extremely dramatic and exciting to look at.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
