My love of art and creativity began during my childhood but is immensely nourished by my life experiences. Growing up you would always find me dabbling my fingers into anything and everything creative! My name is Nuha Thayyib, I was born halfway across the world. I spent nine years in Srilanka before my family decided to move to Canada. Moving at such a young age taught me how to seek discomfort. I believe that life offers its most memorable experiences when you step out of your comfort zone. For the longest time, I saw art as only a hobby, and when it came to deciding my future, I felt a little lost. After graduating from High school I decided to scratch out my plans for studying sciences and decided to pursue a creative career path. I graduated from the graphic design program at BCIT and applied for the CapU IDEA Program. Beyond my creative side, I enjoy cooking and anything adventurous, whether it is a hike, camping, or exploring waterfalls. Throughout my time here at Capilano University, I hope to evolve my skills as a designer and bring all my sketchbook ideas to life.
