My name is Parshan Nasimnasseri, I was born and raised in North Vancouver. My family originated from Tehran,Iran. My ancestors moved from Iran to Vancouver and orange county in the 60s.
Education
I attended elementary school at Larson in North Vancouver from K-7
I then attended Carson Graham secondary from 8-12
I currently attend Capilano University and I am finishing my bachelor’s degree in biology.
I plan on finishing my degree and applying to UBC’s Pharmacy program where I will hopefully become a licensed Pharmacist for the government of British Columbia.
Bio
I was raised in North Vancouver all my life, I am very fortunate to live in this city. I am also fortunate to have an extensive family. Growing up my parents Parnaz and Mohsen gave me a very fulfilling life. I was very active in sports and music. I played a variety of sports including swimming, ice skating, soccer, basketball, martial arts, and rugby. I also know how to play the guitar including acoustic bass and electric, I know how to play the drums as well. I enjoyed my elementary school and especially my high school, I was very active in sports at Carson Graham, and I played rugby all throughout high school except grade 10 when I had my rotator cuff surgery. Nowadays I spend my time studying and working at Hollyburn country club in west Vancouver as a bartender, I have been working here for over 2 years now and it is a great job while I’m still in school.

SKILLS
I am fluent in Persian I have great customer service skills, I worked as a bartender in a hotel, people all over the world and come every day and I would pour those people drinks and sometimes talk to them for hours and they would come back when they visited Vancouver again, I am very organized and great team player.

- Became a bartender when I was 19 had a decent cocktail menu, I made all the drinks and served all the customers. After some time it was only myself working the lounge, I started taking on all the tasks to operate the business accordingly, such as inventory, liquor orders, training employees, food orders, the tips, and opening up and closing down.

My most proud accomplishment
I am most proud of my dedication to improving my health, I was very skinny during the covid 19 pandemic and very unhealthy and I took it upon myself to change my life and get into eating healthy and getting in shape, I went from 118 pounds to 160 pounds in under a year and I used to be always sick and fatigued now I am healthy as a bull and never felt better, I researched to keto diet and I did a thesis on it and it is what helped me reach my goals.
