About me

Hi!

My name is Ravneet Kaur. I grew up in the small town of Punjab, India. I have loving parents that have always supported me. I have four siblings, and I am the youngest one. I have learned discipline and do hard work from my father, a retired army officer in India. He is my inspiration and always gives me the directions to face something.

Currently, I am pursuing my Early Childhood Care and Education, Diploma at Capilano University, North Vancouver, BC. I have also completed my Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Education from my home country. After completing my Higher School Education in 2014, I decided to pursue my education in the teaching profession. I have chosen Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjab. I look forward to putting my education and acquired skills to use.

I did an internship as a Teacher for six months in Secondary School and gained valuable skills for a lifetime. I love to teach tuition to the children free of cost and I had wonderful memories with children while teaching them. My other goal in life is to work as a volunteer in orphanages and older people’s homes. I often visited the orphanages and older people’s homes in my home country. I experienced that dedication, passion and hard work always help achieve short-term and long-term goals.

As an international student, I want to make a balance between work life and student life. My hobbies are listening to music and motivational stories. I like to do gardening and cooking in my spare time.

Thanks!
