I am an outgoing, positive individual with a love for nature, travel, movement, and deep, meaningful human connection. I am a free spirit with an adventurous soul. Throughout my life, I have learned that smiling is a universal language, and that sunshine is the best medicine. Over the last ten years, my life choices have been guided by my heart, which has led me to some fantastic locations with many opportunities for personal growth. I have been fortunate to graduate with a B. A. in psychology, travel and volunteer in South Africa, complete my TESOL certification in Cambodia, teach English in Thailand, complete yoga teacher training in India, trek to Everest Base Camp in Nepal, and live in a van in New Zealand. My love for the mountains and outdoors has brought me to Whistler, Canada, where I currently reside with my husband. Last year the stars aligned, and I found my new home and career at the Whistler Waldorf School. My love for children, and their sense of awe and wonder, led me to my current Early Childhood Education Studies at Capilano University. Additionally, I am passionate about positive psychology, mindfulness, and yoga, and my side project is focused on creating yoga & journaling workshops for teenage girls.
