I am a first year student in the Arts and Entertainment Management program here at Capilano University. As a first year I am finding myself in all kinds of new situations, such as new friends and learning opportunities. I feel very excited and fortunate to have to opportunity to study here for the  following years. I moved to Canada from the Alkmaar in the Netherlands when I was about 10 years old, I am very blessed to be able to have lived in two beautiful countries already in my life time. Another bonus of living in both of these countries is having English as my second language and Dutch as my first. These countries have also has given me a strong sense for different cultures along with my travels.

I hope to graduate my program here at Capilano University with a very good understanding and enough experience to jump into a career in artist management. The music industry is the side of entertainment that really pulls my attention, and is a career that is highly sought after for myself. I have been making music for the last 4 or 5 years and have been working actively in the industry for the last year and a half or so and can not wait to continue this journey. Networking is a major component in this industry and that is something I consider myself very good at, seeing as I am easy to talk to and enjoy talking to others about music and branding. Over the years I have made some amazing friends and met people who have mentored me into becoming a better artist. The knowledge of the program I am taking can help me in my music career in understanding why things are the way they are and what the heck my manager is thinking or I can become a part of another artist team, helping them grow, which fulfills me just as much.

Oh and I love my pupper, his name is buddy and he has recently fallen sick so I am enjoying every moment I can with him.
