Fearless Dreamer (self-portrait):<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

She has let herself be embedded in the magic from within,<\/p>\n

creating captivating worlds. Magic has been her<\/p>\n

companion since she took those baby steps,<\/p>\n

when nature was her home,<\/p>\n

and candle lights were all she had.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Nature instructed her to be a fearless dreamer;<\/p>\n

\u201cpachamama,\u201d mom said was nature\u2019s name.<\/p>\n

The plants, animals and trees<\/p>\n

taught her to not only dream,<\/p>\n

but to act on what makes you<\/p>\n

unique.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Music has been a part of her life<\/p>\n

since she only had one candle to blow out.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is how feelings sound,\u201d dad told her once.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

She was born three months before her time,<\/p>\n

\u201ca miracle,\u201d people call her. Little did she know<\/p>\n

that would not be the last time death<\/p>\n

wondered through hallways playing<\/p>\n

her guitar, tracing footsteps,<\/p>\n

and murmuring the song of a remembered past.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Four times has she heard death\u2019s voice, felt<\/p>\n

her soft skin and smelled her sweet aroma.<\/p>\n

Feeling death\u2019s precence left her with scars<\/p>\n

that made her realize how important<\/p>\n

it is to be a fearless dreamer.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Today she looks at life with different eyes,<\/p>\n

and she wonders if death and nature conversed once,<\/p>\n

before she arrived to this place called Earth<\/p>\n

three months before her time.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Hidden Truths\u00a0(dramatic monologue):<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The moon woke me up one night,<\/p>\n

\u201cmusic shall guide your way,\u201d she whispered.<\/p>\n

I heard her mellow voice as I wondered<\/p>\n

through chambers of lost memories.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As the reflection of the sun shone,<\/p>\n

the purloined guitar captured my sight,<\/p>\n

making my cold feet halt at last. A spark<\/p>\n

suffused my body as the soft voice<\/p>\n

called my name, guiding me towards<\/p>\n

hidden truths.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Suddenly, the sounds of enchanted<\/p>\n

strings were heard, flooding the<\/p>\n

room with music and waking up<\/p>\n

confused souls. Assurance<\/p>\n

and happiness were by my side<\/p>\n

as the feeling of discovery<\/p>\n

flowed through my body.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

When her mellow voice ceased to whisper,<\/p>\n

I knew I was on my way to discover<\/p>\n

the sounds and stories that belong<\/p>\n

to my foreign and vanished past.<\/p>\n
