The theme of my yearbook spread is that of fun, excitement and optimism. I tend to be a dreamer with a positive outlook on the future. Therefore I used bright colours in the background because they embody a feeling of optimism. I also decided to have the sky as the background because skies and clouds are associated with dreaming. I often dream big and I wanted to convey that magnitude with a large sky. Moreover, I\u2019m a person who believes that it\u2019s important to have fun in life, hence I included a rollercoaster (it\u2019s also my favourite ride). I also strive to do something exciting every day and by using bright background colours along with a rollercoaster, I was able to showcase that feeling of excitement I\u2019ve been feeling lately. My creative personality is also shown through the variety of colours and the light bulb on the right. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to this, I highly value the concept of being able to choose what one wants in life, therefore I included balloons and a plane flying up in the sky as they represent a sense of freedom. Furthermore, I wanted to introduce myself as a bold and unique person so I made the colour of the letters in my name white so that it sticks out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, I wanted the theme of this project to be fun and lively as that\u2019s what I strive for in life. I felt that I included all these aspects of myself whether it be through the colours or images, so I would give myself a 9\/10. However, I would cut one point off as I didn\u2019t start with a proper plan of how I wanted it to look and kept erasing what I drew in the beginning.
