Saul Bass was a big influence in the graphic design and film maker fields. He created a new and imaginative art style for motion pictures and film posters.

He used simple shapes and outlines to display a feeling and an insight to the film. He stated that \u201c a film should really begin with the very first frame\u201d this includes the title sequence and even roots to a poster<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bass was originally influenced by Paul Rand and his use of space, shape and colour. Incorporating a similar concept using his own interpretation of a subject.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr Bass created some of the most well known logos, including Bell, AT&T and Kleenex. His designs were meant to last and they have and will. The lifespan average of his logos were 34 years which is a long time in the design world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
