The main theme of his artworks were fantastical, imaginative, apocalyptic, and satirical. Bosch was quite popular as he constantly received commissions. However, Bosch never dated his paintings and had only signed some of them, therefore we have less than 25 paintings from him.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/N-4TwvYDQvxNB3Bd7Z1mdCNMOj0_JMpUnk0zp1vflaP1UYWOeolfV1mL3stX3tYGwQ4oVC7XI9DxZLA4QELr78M9lHbLiyuarFfxsSx11CATZ6412wznsMaoQ4ZT4eLX7gTNvSst\" alt=\"\" width=\"858\" height=\"732\" \/><figcaption> \u201cThe Seven Deadly Sins and the Four Last Things\u201d (c. 1500) <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background has-very-light-gray-background-color\">\u201cThe Seven Deadly Sins and the Four Last Things\u201d (c. 1500) is one of Bosch\u2019s more important works as it depicts God watching man\u2019s downfall and the 7 deadly sins in everyday situations with different social classes. There are also references to his other works in the four corners with,<em> the Death, the Last Judgment, Heaven, and Hell.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/7ziPpnQ8RhX2W4ksQfcqPf5ph2NPdQ2g_D1vAdTA_c3Em1jGFKe6Y09E0mR25rNwV1nRppIw3M4gfv8vMbHexZ1-Bd644YEQVUd8-3flHKlOmCu6cERbZ3rIK_dJ1n4y2UBJTDfM\" alt=\"\" width=\"891\" height=\"542\" \/><figcaption> <em>\u201cThe Last Judgement\u201d (c. 1482-1505)<\/em> <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background has-very-light-gray-background-color\"><em>&nbsp;\u201cThe Last Judgement\u201d (c. 1482-1505)<\/em> presents the fall of humanity from left to right. An interesting thing to note is that the piece only depicts heaven and hell, with no indication of a reflective purgatory or middle ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/9G6NqG1Oz3XkkP6wB1xR13nqtW7pX_eYMWaKoZWyzDACwtJbCBp8XLEMWiN5qCKS8j786FaOu6ppwjmROYE9zXcF3bYT0BjfRo8HeLncgj7-3vgYqxXuetlKwnvrlch8xpqdBWOG\" alt=\"\" width=\"267\" height=\"830\" \/><figcaption> <em>\u201cDeath and the Miser\u201d (c. 1490) <\/em> <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background has-very-light-gray-background-color\"><em>&nbsp;\u201cDeath and the Miser\u201d (c. 1490) <\/em>is the piece I enjoy the most and one that blends the fears of imagination with the grounds of the tangible. Quite relatable as sometimes people fear imaginary creatures around their bed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/WgN65jaLnAyCnGuJlqNBs0LVuPzD4JD5wFTKJjOFpoJ2arQ47qp4dOVeYEF9T8S27KeYSnNAtaDBfIED56bTWW-cCNsZ_qDcWqGbducshTYtGnQzmldqu7ckTfwrTv2TCZmOfbPo\" alt=\"\" width=\"868\" height=\"462\" \/><figcaption> <em>\u201cThe Garden of Earthly Delights\u201d (c. 1490-1510)<\/em> <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background has-very-light-gray-background-color\">&nbsp;<em>\u201cThe Garden of Earthly Delights\u201d (c. 1490-1510)<\/em> Considered Bosch\u2019s masterpiece, displaying the Garden of Eden, the third day of the world\u2019s creation, and the last judgement, the key stories of mankind in the Bible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/Py4Y21pDcB3wuY30VHzBa_ahkL8ag-vmofw35odmmF313nP28KqnndbceLr1CTvHgrVDXg-kirGEMMYA0SE5AdZgn8ftn-lU2F2V7sUYFVZkt3kC0Hu7Ci0u8p2pUWJ0rNscXFzS\" alt=\"\" width=\"867\" height=\"512\" \/><figcaption> <em>\u201cThe Temptation of St. Anthony\u201d (c.1501)<\/em> <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background has-very-light-gray-background-color\">&nbsp;A famous painting of the Triptych of <em>\u201cThe Temptation of St. Anthony\u201d (c.1501)<\/em>, one that has been recreated many times.
